I'd been missing the connection that I had in the first book. I have loved all of the books but there was just something special about Alex and Violet in the first book. I'm glad to see them finally get married and see a little more into their future than just a HFN. She still brings a lot of comedy to Forever Pucked, loading it with silly fun, but this book has lots of heart moments too. I found several parts really touching. I love how some of the hockey players, friends, lovers and families have formed a special little group. Each person brings his or her own unique personality to the overall makeup. No matter if the outside world would consider one of them to be ditzy, klutzy, promiscuous, mental, style-challenged, moody or whatever, they all have a special spot in their circle which couldn't be filled by anyone else. Alex and Violet definitely have a unique wedding. Of course it has ridiculous bits, but I wasn't expecting as much sweetness. This book may have made me a little emotional a few times. Fans of the series will not be disappointed.
