Here in the U.S. we can, theoretically, eat sweets all day long. While not advisable, this is one aspect of life in the 21st century of which I wholeheartedly approve. New cookbook, received used from Amazon: The Sweet Life by Kate Zuckerman. Mine has drool all over it already. Gorgeous photography, which is essential in a cookbook in my opinion, incites the salivary glands and the recipes are not terribly difficult seeming. Here are just a few standouts: Goat Cheesecake Enrobed in Hazelnut Brittle, Chocolate Caramel Pot de Creme, Sesame Milk Chocolate Mousse, Goat Cheese and Purple Basil Souffle.
