As an Olympic rookie, Andie Foster has spent far more time in her cleats than between the sheets. For 21 years, her Friday nights have consisted of blocking shots rather than taking them. But now that she's landed in Rio, she's ready to see for herself if the rumors about the Olympic Village are true:* The athletes are all sex-crazed maniacs...* The committee passes out condoms like candy...* The games continue long after the medals have been handed out...As Andie walks the line between rumor and reality, she's forced into the path of Frederick Archibald, a decorated Olympic swimmer and owner of a sexy British accent-too bad he's unavailable in a way that "it's complicated" doesn't even begin to explain. In other words: off limits. It doesn't matter that he has abs that could bring peace to the Middle East and a smile that makes even the Queen blush; Andie fully intends on keeping her focus on the soccer field. But the Village is small. Suffocating. Everywhere Andie goes, Freddie happens to be there-shirtless, wet from the pool, and determined to show her a whole new meaning of the phrase "international affairs".… (mer)

Sexy. Fun. Addictive.
Settling the Score makes for a great summer read. The chemistry between Andie and Freddie was undeniable and I love that it takes place in Rio during the Olympics. It's the perfect blend of romance, humor, angst and of course, sports.
Can't wait to read Out of Bounds! ( )

I always get worried going into sports romance novels. They aren't typically my cup of tea. Then again, a lot lately seems to not be my cup of tea. I have been in a horrible book slump. No matter how good the book is, I just can't seem to jump on the reading train. With that being said, I devoured this story!

I laughed, I cried, I booed, I hissed, my claws came out at one point. This book had me all over the place. With realistic, lovable character to realistic unlikable characters, I ate it up. The plot moved effortlessly and had me from the start.

I haven't read all of R.S. Grey's books, but I have read a few. I am not sure what it is about her writing style. No matter what my preconceived notion on what I think I will or won't like, I find myself always liking her books. Not many authors can write such a smooth-moving story that keeps me sitting for hours not wanting to put the book down. ( )

I liked both Freddie and Andie but Georgie stole the show for me. Can't wait to read her book. ( )

⇝My Thoughts⇜

I would like to thank the Author for writing a story with the perfect blend of sexy stuff, angsty love, humor and some olympic inspired drama. Everything about this clicked with me. I loved it. That's why I'm so bummed, that the second book in the series, has so many reviews that are two stars or less...

Narration is excellently done by Amanda Dolan, she has a great voice for this genre of book…and she did an excellent English accent as well (at least from this American girls pov). Shaun Grindell did the male pov and he was good too, but I think I would of liked a more masculine voice for Freddie.

⇝Sex Factor⇜ Just the right amount of well written sexy scenes… ( )
