They could use the book as part of a historic fiction genre study or for a fictional look at the young Elizabeth I as part of a history unit. Another group that might use this book is a college course that focuses on children’s literature. They could use it as an example of historic fiction, perhaps developing lesson plans and materials to accompany the study. An unexpected audience would be a writer’s group. The author of this book is a local resident and leads writing classes and writer’s groups.
