Okay, I quite enjoyed this even though the plot is a little murky. It's definitely a part 1, but also resolves well enough, which is good because the next book isn't out yet.

The author did a great job with the dragon MC and his wolf shifter, they felt genuinely not human. I like the worldbuilding. There are just two or three instances where modern phrases snuck in. The one I noticed near the end, "no worries," is a prime example that popped me out of the story for a second. This is the sort of thing editors are supposed to catch. ( )

Too short. I was hoping for something epic of Kria proportions. Next time I will pay more attention to page count and reviews.

Interesting characters in this one: human shifters, which means their base form is wolf, and half-human shifters, base form is dragon. I am not entirely sure of the logistics of the sex in this one, as it intrudes too much on my comfort zone. It's not the book's problem tho, and my rating doesn't reflect my hard limits ;)

As I have mentioned, my only disappointment is that there is no book 2. Or 3. Or 4.

I loved Naj & Barkus, their playfullness is endearing and sweet while still hot and sensual. Oh and Dragons, dragons are always good! I wish this was longer, I didn't want it to end, hopefully book 2 will be out soon. ( )
