I was hoping for a little more romance, but as far as master/servant hot and heavy erotica goes, this wasn't bad! Not bad at all, actually. I'm happy to say I wasn't completely traumatized, at least! Nicholas, the "master" (sorry, this isn't a doctor who reference) in the "relationship" (note the quotation marks) is a psychopath. So, yeah, this erotica seriously lacks in the romance department. Not to worry! It makes up for it with manipulation, torture, and sadism! Ha! Not for everyone. This story is for the lovers of dark, sick, mutated erotica that you have no choice but to bury in the darkest depths of your sock drawer. Heaven forbid the hubby finds it! Very unique story. Loved the setting! Hated the torture. Fortunately, this short story won me over with some sadistic, grin bearing male on male hand job action at the end, there. Also, I really liked the last few lines. It really ties together Nicholas's insecurities as well as, I'm assuming, foreshadows what's to come in the series. -Mia, a novice to the reviewer's world of story critique. Mind twisting erotica. Nicholas Ignazio has got the hots for his butler, Mr. Penn. So what makes this story something to rave about? Nichols is a psychopath. And the son of an Italian mob boss. So, yeah. Can't say I've ever read anything quite like this. Loved the historical Italian setting and despite the fact that Nicholas is a manipulative dick, I can't say I hate the character. So props to the author for that! This erotica is a dark and twisted little treat for those late night horror erotica munchies! Where to begin... Mr. Penn is a butler for the Iganzio family mafia. He's been there since he was a child and therefore had the "opportunity" to raise the young Master Nicholas Ignazio. Nicholas is, without a doubt, a psychopath, for the boy lacks a conscience. He sees people as things to mess with, play with, and eventually discard. Mr. Penn becomes one of those things. Nicholas finds the manservant attractive. Always has. And when he finally gets leverage on the man? He uses it without a second thought on the matter. Took off a star because I literally cringed at that torture scene. Uck. Read warnings carefully, readers. They're there for a reason. Looking for reviews? Please consider our book club! http://www.goodbookswithtea.blogspot.com Can I just start by saying, Nicholas Ignazio scares me! This short story is like you're inside a psychopath's head and I love it! He's an absolute sadist and manipulative bastard and I just want Mr. Penn to spin him around and start spanking! Too much? Is there an age limit to this thing? Am I supposed to keep this at a PG level, b/c I don't think that's gonna happen. Okay, so Mr. Penn is Nicholas' servant/butler who has got to have some sort of serious family issue, I mean, he sees his "masters" as family and idk whether I should find that sweet, heart breaking, or both. Probably both. So Nicholas finds out that Mr. Penn sees him as a son and would do ANYTHING to please him. Wellp. Nicholas decides to test that. This is dark, like horror erotica right here. There's some torture to showcase just how fucked up Nicholas is, and then some "Papa, love me" type sexual favors as well since, you know, that little psycho is going to milk the family/son role for all it's worth. Loved it! Five stars! To all you authors out there, please check out my book-family's blogspot, Good Books With Tea! The link is on my profile. Artistically, I like how this story played out. The author has written a very unique erotica that wouldn't work without a splash of red. Murder. Torture. Money. Lust. Envy. Loyalty. It's all there, and yet played so brilliantly it's hard to notice all of these vibrant themes have been placed within such short text.
Nicholas Ignazio, son of an Italian mafia crime lord, swoons at the kiss of death. Erotic, he finds it.
Beautiful, he sees it.
Pain? Just as breathtaking.
Artful, is the boy most claim to be a psychopath, a lunatic, a heartless devil. But Mr. Penn, the young man's butler, sees him as so much more. He sees him as family, a creature of love.
I found this tale to be a one of a kind.
Nicholas may be using Mr. Penn to feed his lust, but his feelings of envy toward Agatha, Mr. Penn's secret lover, imply so much more.
Nicholas is not a monster. He can feel joy just as easily as he can feel hurt. Only Mr. Penn can see that in this work of fiction and that is a large part of why Nicholas is so drawn to the older man.
It's a beautiful story, but I feel this series is to end in tragedy. "Mr. Penn" has every making to be a tragic romance. ( )
