Always an audience favorite. I've lost count the number of times I've read this one to the children. ( )

All the B's come out of the book when the narrator sneezes, with hilarious results. The text is interactive, asking the listener to correct the narrator's missing B words. A class favorite among my first-graders ( )

Such a fun read for young beginner readers! This book also provides concepts on how to read a certain word without a certain letter, it gets tricky that's for sure! Some classrooms focus on a certain letter everyday and or week, so this book would be good to read on the day that is focused on the letter B!

When the narrator reads this book aloud, a loud sneeze scares the letter "B" out of the book! And so many important things begin with the letter "b"!

I could envision this book being a fun read-aloud with elementary school-age children. It makes the reader sound a bit silly (not quite as much so as The Book with No Pictures, but in a similar vein). Kids will be sure to love their teacher, parent, or other adult reading this and sounding ridiculous as they drop letters from the beginning of words. While it is primarily meant to be a funny book, I think its hidden talent is in teaching the importance of letters and words. ( )

This may be hard to read out loud ... I'll have to try - it could be fun. ( )
