I got this book in back when I was involved in campaign work with, shall we say, small resources, to use it in opposition research. It's very dog-eared and highlighted--lots of useful suggestions--back then. But since this was published in 1995, internet resources have changed so much, moved so fast, I can no longer see using this as a reference, despite this being well-written and thorough for its time.
