An absolutely wonderful book about young adults trying to find their way in the world. This book was published in 1972 and tells the story of Judith Trevor who feels alienated from her parents and their sterile world. After graduating from high school but before college starts, she and two friends take off for a ghost town in Montana. Adventures along the way keep the story interesting, and their life in Montana, while not what they expected, is very interesting and much better than their life in Florida. New people and situations enter the lives of the three girls, and each one must find her place and come to terms with her life. Highly recommended and a must-read. ( )
