The humans worship a sun god, and the orcs a death god. We follow far too many charcters as an human priest attempts to summon the orcish god, but disturbs a terrible monster instead. The elves know this is coming an attempt to intervene and form a peaceful alliance to battle it, but mis-read the characters involved (probably because they're all so flat). Instead a human acolyte and female orcish assassin appear to have divine guidance to save the day. Meanwhile a faun runs around on a unicorn. It's too busy, and all the characters are pancake thin.
