The Oz books form a book series that begins with The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (1900) and relate the fictional history of the Land of Oz. Oz was created by author L. Frank Baum, who went on to create the illusion that characters such as Dorothy and Princess Ozma relayed their adventures in Oz to Baum themselves, by means of wireless telegraph. This ebook presents all the Wizard of Oz novels written by Lyman Frank Baum. Some stories are OK, some are silly and not worth reading. I picked it up because I was having a tough time emotionally and wanted to get away from anything serious or realistic. Lots of interesting nonhuman characters turn up in multiple stories and good always triumphs over evil, although it may take a while. Interestingly, “The Wizard of Oz” is shorter and less dramatic than the movie. (
