This is a simple and short yet entertaining story of Max, a student running for class president. A wonderful way to introduce students to the election process, this book can help tie together Social Studies and English. This book utilizes traditional text as well as conversation bubbles and could be used to show students how writers show dialogue within text. ( )

Max loses becoming president to Kelly. She sees how it affects him and ask him to be vice president. Both students are then happy, feel capable and worth while.
