I was disappointed by this installment in the Cold Case series. I enjoy both Ten and Ronan as a couple and a team. The whining, crying and blame tossing got very old very quickly and the story got repetitive. The mystery of Mr. Owens was enjoyable and kept me interested in the investigation but I found myself skipping pages in order to get back to the case. Too much filler in this story for me to give it more than three stars. ( )

This was another spectacular book in the series. At the end of the last book, Tennyson needs to get away after dealing with the serial killer. He feels like he is losing it, and can’t get a minute to himself due to all of the spirits around. He screams at them to leave him alone, and his gift goes away. This was a great book because it really caused Tennyson and Ronan to support each other. There is a minor cold case to solve, but it is much more challenging without Tenn’s gift. Fabulous, and I can’t wait to read the next book.

Again, Michael Pauley was tremendous. I love his voice and interpretation of the characters. I can’t read these books. I need Michael reading them to me forevermore.
