New York Times Bestseller! What happens when we give away love like we're made of it? In his entertaining and inspiring follow-up to the New York Times bestselling phenomenon Love Does, Bob Goff takes readers on a journey into the secret of living without fear, constraint, or worry. The path toward the liberated existence we all long for is found in a truth as simple to say as it is hard to do: love people, even the difficult ones, without distinction and without limits. Driven by Bob's trademark storytelling, Everybody, Always reveals the lessons Bob learned--often the hard way--about what it means to love without inhibition, insecurity, or restriction. From finding the right friends to discovering the upside of failure, Everybody, Always points the way to embodying love by doing the unexpected, the intimidating, the seemingly impossible. Whether losing his shoes while skydiving solo or befriending a Ugandan witch doctor, Bob steps into life with a no-limits embrace of others that is as infectious as it is extraordinarily ordinary. Everybody, Always reveals how we can do the same.… (mer)

Last year I read Love Does, and was blown away. I received Everybody Always as a gift and I finally sat down to read it. I immediately wanted to start highlighting important passages or passages that spoke to me. I then decided to put post it flags on pages that spoke to me instead of highlighting them. I stopped doing that after about 5 flags. This whole book needed to be flagged. This book spoke to me in a way that others haven't. Maybe it's the way he tells a story, I don't know. He just has a way of saying something and letting the reader understand what he is saying without a bunch of big words, or long drawn out explanations.

I took more away from this book than I thought I would. I thought I did love everyone, always...but I was wrong. And there will be people who will hear from me because of this book.

Bob has his way of showing and giving love, it may not be your way or mine, but the premise is to Love Everybody Always and it is something I will be doing from now on! ( )

Just buy it and read it already

When I learned that Bob Goff was releasing a new book, I pre-ordered it. Then, like a nice meal or a nice wine, I read it slowly to savour every morsel. "Everybody, Always" fed my soul, just like "Love Does" did when I read it.

These are stories about learning to practice and live in the love of Jesus. They made me cry. They made me smile so wide my face hurt. They've encourage me and challenge me to love deliberately and actively and differently than I have - to become love to and with everyone around me.

My words here do not do the book justice . But it. Read it. Let it feed your soul. ( )

I've spent my whole life trying to make my faith easy. The truth is, it's not. From what I've been reading, if we do it right, it will actually kill all the earlier versions of us. What I'm trying to do now is make my faith simple.
This book is dedicated to everyone who has helped my friends and me make faith increasingly simple. These people haven't tried to save up love like they're going to need it later; they know we're rivers, not reservoirs. It's also a really long thank-you note to everyone who has ever done something nice for Sweet Maria, for one of my kids, or for someone they love. When you've done it for them, you've done it for me. I know God feels the same way.
