First book in a series that is like the Choose your own adventure series, Main character’s mother has her own detective agency which is a very fun and different concept for this type of book, This is a wildly fun interactive book that involves the reader in every step of the way. You choose the path to follow to crack the case!, Fans of the You Choose series will love this book because of the same type of interactive format it follows.
Fun book for a kids book club to do because of the fun everyone can have with it

Do you like adventure? If yes then this is your book, in "Mystery in the Mansion" by Lauren Magaziner the book is apart of the case closed series where these three kids go on adventures but the good thing is that this is the first book of the series and you can pick your own choices. In the "Mystery in the Mansion" these three kids take over a failing detective agency and in order to save it, they must take a case from an elderly lady who has been receiving death threats about something that she possesses after the culprit is caught you would never guess who it was. In my opinion, this book is a great book because of all the different things the three kids do to find the culprit, giving you a choice if you did not like how the story ended up allowing you to be able to change it modifying it to your liking, and also giving you a sense of adventure because of the desire to know all the endings and finding the best ending. Personally I would recommend this book to kids who are having a hard time getting into reading because of the adventure and freedom of choice the book allows them to possess. ( )

I received this book as an ARC to read and pass down to my middle school aged kids. What a great fun read. I had so much fun deciding which path to read. The fun of this book is if you have kids that may not want to read, the sections are short, there are a ton of options to chose and they direct the story. The story is really cute about 3 kids that are helping out the main characters mom that has the flu. She leads a detective agency and really needs this case, so her son and his friends take over. ( )
