Perfect choice for anyone struggling to name a pet. A stray cat came to their house, they asked around and after not finding an owner they decided to keep the cat as a pet. The family struggles with naming their new pet, a male cat. Everyone suggested names but they never felt it was a perfect choice. After the cat was lucky to not to break a vase, lucky to get away from a dog and lucky to land on his feet after falling, they decided on a name. Their new pet cat's name is LUCKY. Sometimes people come up with names for their pets when they least expect it. This would be a good story to do an interactive reading with because students can come up with ideas for names for the cat , as well as guess what name the family will choose.
