Then this is the book for you. The book I'm Trying to Love Math is about an alien who comes from space to tell students all about the ways Math is fun. the narrator of the book is unconvinced and the alien has to work at convincing the students and narrator how math is so fun. By the end of the book, the alien has convinced us that math is connected to so many things that we love. Things that include; cooking, nature, music, games, and navigation. I loved this book specifically because it is chalked full of interesting and cool facts about math and the many ways that we use it in our everyday life. I think this book is great for all ages but It would be really great for 4-7 graders because some of the connections might be a little advanced for the younger grades.
