This book challenges children to say something, to speak up when children see a lonely person or someone being hurt, to write a poem, to draw something, to help others understand. This book reminders the reader that every voices deserves to be heard and every voice matters. In Say Something, the reader is encouraged to use self-expression to voice what they see, whether verbal, written, or other expression. This is a wonderful book and can be used in grades K-5 to inspire discussions surrounding activism, self expression, and justice. Saying something can change the world. Your voice can inspire, heal, and transform the world into a better place. No matter what, say what is on your mind. You will be surprised at how many people are listening when you think you are not being heard. This is such a great story to show children to always say what they are feeling because someone is always listening. Say something is a book about bullying. I didn’t really like it, but I can appreciate that it may have its place. This book is a good example of standing up for what’s right and wrong. The protagonist, once a bystander to bullying became a target herself. Once she was put in another person’s shoes she then started treating the kids who were being bullied differently. She went out of her way to be nice to them. One day, she sat next to the girl who usually sits alone on the bus. This book is a good example of saying anything is better than saying nothing. Say something is a great book that gives the reader multiple situations in which they can use their voice. This book teaches the reader that no matter who they are they always have the power to stand up for others and say something when they see something happening that they don't like. inga recensioner | lägg till en recension
