Rhymes with Witches is an exiting and suspenseful book. It is about a teenage girl, Jane, who is shy and a bookworm and wants to be in the popular group. And surprisingly enough the popular group needs another popular person, and they decide to pick her. Throughout the novel Jane loses her best friend, but gains the entire school's friendship. Jane learns that to be popular in this school you have to "take" someone else's popularity, which is by stealing an object that is theirs. Then bad things will happen to that person,and Jane would gain even more popularity. This book is about witchcraft, friendship, trust, and popularity.

Lauren Myracle is my newest addiction. I love her writing style. I love her ideas. I have no way of knowing if she paints a picture of a typical teenager, but I think there are things in her books that all teens can relate to.
