This book would be good for intermediate students. This book is "Going Down Home with Daddy" written by Kelly Starling Lyons, illustrated by Daniel Minter, and published in 2019. This book is about Lil Alan and his family going to a celebration of family history at his grandma's house. This book would be good in a classroom to show a little bit of African'American family history and it has a good message that family is really important. The only thing that I would be worried about is if a student didn't have a god family, it might be hard to hear this book.
