Aaahhh! This was absolutely PERFECT! ❤️ I couldn’t have wished for a more fitting ending to one of my all-time favorite series! Hawk tied up all the loose ends beautifully. I was SO afraid that they might kill off one of our poor heroes for dramatic effect, and to be sure, things did get a bit hairy for a moment there… But Whyborne & Co. are pros at getting in and out of trouble!

These books will always hold a special place in my heart… With each one, the author took me on a wonderful journey, and while that journey’s end was immensely enjoyable, it was still an END. So…

Goodness, I don't know why this book seemed so determined to make me cry! lol. I just feel so invested in these characters by this point. I'm not sure how well it would really stand on its own, being the culmination of the entire series, but it's my favorite of all of them. ( )

Last book of a fantastic series! The author wraps up all her loose strings nicely. Quite a bit more battle action in book 10 and this one than the preceding stories and although it kind of edged out the more emotional scenes which populated a good portion of the series, I'm not complaining because I just loved the way it all finished out. As far as Christine's original discovery which kind of set everything in motion, I think the way the author had it all come full circle was fantastic.

I so badly would love to see this series made into movies (as long as it is done correctly). I even have ideas on actors and a script LOL

Oh my god, my heart… it’s so full 😭❤

Such a fantastic finale for the series! It’s properly action-packed, but also full of little moments of love and contemplation, allowing you to look back at the truly epic journey these characters underwent. I love every single one of them, no exaggeration. Every. Single. One.

And of course I cried! But Hawk is a master-craftsman of the genre, so I was sure every tear of distress will turn into a happy one by the end. And boy howdy did I bawl reading the final chapter.

This book—this whole series overall—is an absolute joy. ( )
