This book does a great job at illustrating where fossil fuels are in our world and how they connect to one another. It allows students to see the impact the fossil fuels are having in the environment and where they are the most prevalent. The book provides a picture of the continents on the world and gives a visual of where the fossil fuels occur allowing students to see where they exist. There are arrows that are directing the fossil fuels creating a visual representation for students. The authors start with the sun and gives a visual to students how the fossil fuels are interconnected. The book also explains where the energy comes from which gives background for students. They can see how it is produced and comes in different forms. I would use this with students and have them create a solution to the fossil fuels and something they could do differently to help it in the future. ( )
