Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Parts 1 & 2 and Harry Potter and the…

If you recently read Harry Potter for the first time and are about to read The Cursed Child, DONT! It is a terrible addition to an absolutely fantastic series. It ruins everything about time travel within Harry Potter. There are massive plot holes all over the place. I read it with high expectations, and I was severely disappointed. What a waste of time and money ( )

So, Cursed Child...the eighth story as it is called. I'd rather keep it separate from the other HARRY POTTER books ,cause it is different from the rest, not just the format,but also the writing and elements in the story. Doesn't mean i didn't enjoy reading the book, cause i did, but there were a few problematic elements which deterred the story for me. If gone into the book with not a lot to expect,the this will be a enjoyable read. ( )

All I could think about while reading this is what a nightmare it would be to stage. ( )

I give this playbook 3 stars because it was something based off of a well written series. The writing wasn't done by J.K Rowling but it still had that magical element that pays homage to the Harry Potter series. This book would be great for young readers who are studying plays and are studying the different aspects of plays. I do not recommend this book to take place as a sequel to Harry Potter because it is a story not based on the series it self. I love the writing style but I do agree with other reviews that the characters are a bit scattered and the plot is a bit confusing. It is hard to connect the two very different writing styles of J.K Rowling and the other two authors. ( )

Didn't love it but I didn't hate it either.
The Cursed Child is one of those in-between books for me. I really enjoyed reading it but it just didn't blow me away. I've never read anything formatted this way before so it took some getting used to but after a while it didn't bother me.
What bothered me was that the plot kind of felt like it was all over the place and at times, I really didn't care much for some of the characters. Loved Scorpius though!
