In this next Christmas novella we get Ginger and Keller, Ginger is a baker and she has been entered into a Food Network competition and one of her competitors is professional chef Keller James, she has to fight her attraction to this hot chef and his British accent so she can focus on winning and collecting the prize money to open her own bakery. Keller is wanting more out of his life as a professional chef with his own tv show and the town of Reindeer Falls has drawn him in especially when he meets Ginger Winter. He is immediately attracted to her and wants more with her, so he spends a few days getting know her better beyond the competition and he realizes he is falling hard for his Ginger Spice. This was super cute and I loved how the author incorporated the Food Network competition because it felt like I was truly watching a tv show. Super cute and a fun read. ( )

Ginger Spice Winter (Yeah, her mother went overboard with ALL of her children's names) always wanted to have her own bakery shop. And not always in the way people call a few years. She started baking (under supervision, of course) at the young age of seven. Her only dream: Ginger's Bake Shop, her bakery. And if she wins The Gingerbread Bake-Off, she will be much closer to her dream. She can taste it already—the only problem: her hot, handsome competitor and celebrity crush, professional chef Keller James.

Keller and Ginger are attractive. Not in a kitten way. In a sexy way, sure. But also in a way that warms your heart and wraps around you like a cozy blanket. Their story is fast, too fast for some people. For me, however, it's complicated. You see, I hate love at first sight, insta-love, or whatever new name they're calling it this week. Love at first sight is overrated and lacks any real connection or chemistry. But (There's ALWAYS a but) Keller and Ginger share chemistry so raw and honest, it seeps through the pages and shakes me by the shoulders to make me believe in it. While Holly and Nick's story, The Boss Who Stole Christmas, was passionate, this one is relatively calm, like a warm caress. So far, this series has helped me get over most of my months-long slump, and I couldn't be more grateful. ( )

Sooo cute. Ginger (the gingerbread maker) encounter hot guy and famous celebrity chef Keller in the lobby of her inn devouring her gingerbread cookies. Sparks fly. It turns out they will be competing together on the world’s funniest Christmas themed Food Network baking competition. This was TOO CUTE.
