This is a terrific book which also happens to be very short and highly readable. For those hoping to gain a bit of clarity on gender ideology, it is certainly worth picking up. James packs a lot of material into 125 pages. She dives into the history of gender theory and how major thinkers have shaped the discussion on gender fluidity and the rise of transgenderism. She makes a helpful clarification for Christians to distinguish those who are confused and hurting vs. those who are activists promoting an outright rejection of God’s good design (Gen. 1:27). Some individuals are caught up in the confusion while others are actively campaigning against God’s revealed order. It is important to distinguish between each, though the truths of God do not change. ( )
