This is a very creative and fun pop-up book! Meant for ages 2-5, this is one that adults are sure to enjoy sharing with them. Instead of popping into the story behind the flaps or with the pop-ups, Scruff is always popping out! Wanting to avoid a bath, this muddy little fellow does a great job of hiding all around the barnyard, but comes clean in the end. My favorite is the spread where Scruff hides in the bushes behind a flock of sheep! A very sturdy book even for the littlest hands. ( )

Great pop-up book about a person trying to give their dog a bath but can't find their dog, scruff. The dog appears shortly through the moving of the pop-up animals but isn't found until the very end. I enjoyed that the dog appeared and disappeared during the transition of each pop up. Also, non pop-up pages were filled with texture which is great for kids building upon their sensory skills. ( )
