But it's weird. I can see what Hill and Kudranski were going for and, story-wise, it mostly gets there. But the art is... not for me. Kudranski's style reminds me a lot of Maleev, especially his run on Daredevil. And this being a Hand adjacent story, I'm guessing that's no accident. But the majority of panels and pages in this book are closeup shots of eyes and mouths. Often the same exact shot of an eye or mouth, or half a face, repeated multiple times across a page. And it's just... weird, and distracting, and repetitive. Like, I know it's a story about Loss(tm) but you didn't have to copy the laziest parts of CAD ( )
