Perfect, little collection of short stories to round out a great series. The insight into Cardan's mind was simultaneously fantastic and terrifying. ( ) Cardan's take on some of the events during and after the Folk of the Air series, framed as a series of fairy tales. It offers insight into why Cardan was a cruel prince and how much he loves his wife. The hardcover is a GORGEOUS book. It is filled with illustrations by Rovinna Cai. The paper is lush. It was a pleasure to read for both its form and content. After the fascinating stories told by Jude, seeing prince Carden's side of things adds new perspective not only on the other stories, but on the king himself. This one is shorter than the others, and told in a series of stories, all with illustrations. It's set apart from the other books in the series in that way, but just as important. inga recensioner | lägg till en recension
