This ebook would be a great story to read to children who are waiting for or in the process of adoption. Also would be helpful for families with biological children going through the adoption process, as well. The story itself is not dazzlingly illustrated, but I think for the very specific audience it is really quite a wonderful book. ( )

Tiger and Lily Together is written perfectly to be accessible by young children who may need to understand more about the delicate topic of adoption. The family diversity of this book as accented by the diversity of the characters. In pictures and words, this book provides both windows and mirrors. Including Tiger as a main character, will not only appeal to young children but help them connect to the story in a way that they understand, especially with respect to coping skills. I was provided an early reviewer copy of this book but plan to acquire this book to read in my own preschool classroom during All About My Family week. ( )

I enjoyed this book very much. It was a very quick read and thought it gave excellent points to the perspective of adoption told through the eyes of the child.

The pictures were also wonderfully done ( )

A very sweet story based around the nervousness and concerns of adoption. Poor Lily and her cute little friend Tiger wait with all their hearts to be part of a perfect family.
This beautifully illustrated book is gentle and loving to read and I just wish there was a bit more.
Little boys and girls would love it. ( )
