The Crave Series by Tracy Wolff is a young adult series that is pretty similar to the Harry Potter series. Instead of a boarding school for witches and wizards it’s a mixed school of witches, dragons, vampires and werewolves. The main character, Grace, thinks she’s human, and after her parents die she’s sent to live at the boarding school which is ran by her Uncle.

Covet is the third book in the series. After nearly dying again, just like in the ending of the last two books, I really wasn’t expecting much for her by book 3. This book was a little more entertaining than the first two. She gets put into prison and must find her way out. This one had more action and developed the characters more than in the first book.

I like the overall storyline and the action scenes. Wolff writes really well. I wish this series was narrated from Jaxon’s point of view. After three books I really can’t stand Grace. She is whiny and weak in all 3. And it’s the same repetitive drawl over and over again. I don’t have much faith for Grace’s character development, but I will finish out the series.

Okay, nine months later and the books have blended together a bit. I remember pieces, and I remember liking it, and I remember reading in that desperate state where you're in the middle of a series and you might die if you don't finish, so yeah, even going back through and I can't quite sort out that what for which book, at least for #3 and #4. ( )

My heart. My entire heart has been crushed, in more ways than one. I’m craving the fourth book. This one just hit me in a lll the feels, I was happy, frustrated, got goosebumps, and even cried several times. It may just be drama and trashy to some but it’s everything to me. ( )

As a librarian, I read heaps of books so I have lots of titles I can recommend to Readers. This often means I never get to finish a series. My goal is to start finishing book series this year but I just can't continue with this YA series anymore. Why?

It's all the invitation I need. My hands sliding up to tangle and tug at his hair, as I yank his mouth down to mine. Hudson groans low in his throat and then he's kissing me back. His lips and teeth and tongue ravaging mine like it's the end of the world and this is the last kiss any two people will ever share and I ravage him right back. Biting, licking, sucking, kissing...

and so on and so forth.

Plus it's 22 hours long. I'm just over half way through and hardly anything has happened. These books need a massive edit in which they are slashed in half.

Others have loved it so I'm happy it has an audience.
