Ernest Rowbotham was traveling Europe in the luxury of the 1920's with all expenses paid by his Uncle Luigi. And at the end of the tour, the prospect of fabulous riches waited. But of course there was a snag. Several, in fact. There was the rather embarrassing presence of Uncle Luigi, a strange woman who seemed to be watching Ernest's every move on his trip & a group of Chicago musicians inseparable from their cased instruments, yet they never seemed to play. And finally there was someone who was very anxious that Ernest shouldn't finish his trip alive
