Acceptable biography of the famed media mogul, though I happen to think that Nasaw's biography "The Chief" (which is referenced in the footnotes) does a somewhat better job. Not much new ground ploughed here. Procter has a strange habit throughout the book of repeatedly referring to the San Simeon buildings by their letter codes in parens, which is hardly necessary after the first reference. He also repeatedly identifies the political cartoonists in the same, repetitive fashion, and the book has batches of small typos (odd for an OUP book). ( ) inga recensioner | lägg till en recension
