I felt like I was a participant and was fully invested in the twists and turns of working with a diverse group toward a "common" end. Will individual wishes take precedence over the task at hand? How will people work (or not) together? What will you learn about yourself? What will be revealed when all is said and done? The first person narrator was a great choice and yes, there are a number of views on religion since the group is selecting a church leader, all of which I enjoyed even though I am not religious.
