I read every book I can find on the subject of genetics, adoption, surrogacy, etc. and this is one of the best ones. The wealth of correspondence among the author, who was adopted as an infant, his wife who couldn't sustain a pregnancy without endangering her own health, and the members of his birth family really brings an emotional depth to the story. The end result of most of the individuals involved forging strong extended family ties makes for a heartwarming story and a most satisfactory conclusion.Det här är en av LibraryThings förhandsrecensioner. The memoir was a very easy read with a lot of heartfelt messages. The authors tell the story of how adoption, surrogacy, acceptance, longing and love all intersect in two families lives. Some of the book is actual email and long-hand letters written between strangers about their feelings of finding each other. I would definitely recommend this. inga recensioner | lägg till en recension
