Although this book specifically focuses on apostrophes, it shows students how using punctuation in the correct places can make meaning clear or change the meaning of a sentence. Looking at the differences in meaning of the same sentence with different apostrophe placement can have funny results. This book can also be interactive and be turned into a lesson where the students write their own sentenses that can have two different meanings when using two different sets of puntuation. ( ) At first I was going to dock this book a star because I didn't think it really explained the difference too clearly where a child could understand why the illustration was different with a change in the placement of a apostrophe. Then clearly at the end of the book it explains every single page and what the placement of the apostrophe does to the meaning of the words. I like that this is a silly looking book that helps to make clear an important and often confusing subject and as a teacher you can really manage how complicated you want to get explaining the illustrations based on the sentences. inga recensioner | lägg till en recension
