This is a fun counting book from the the great NY Met. In it, numbers are introduced to children through classics art pieces, such as Van Gogh and Egyptian hieroglyphics. Each number from one to ten has four pages devoted to it. First, readers are invited to search for how many of a certain thing they can find in a single work. Then, on the next page you see four different works illustrating that number. It is educational as well for in the back of the book there is information about each artists featured. ( )
