In this book, there are two main character, William and Anne Scott. William is ordinary man and has a small, un successful bookshop at Notting Hill in London. Anne is a very famous American film star, she is rich and beautiful. Their lives are different in every way, but one occurence brought love to them.
I like love story very much, so I enjoyed reading this book. I like an idol who is very handsome , so I admire love of difference in social standing like this story.
And I like the end, he run after her to tell her his feelings of love.
I learnded from this book, the chance is very important for love. I thought it is difficult to find someone we love and someone who will also love me. The chances are very small, so I will cherish the chance when I do anything! ( )

Althogh I knew this story, I was able to understand futher detail of this story after I read it. Anna Scott is an American film star. She is rich,beautiful and very famous. William Thacker is a shy man who has a small unsuccessful bookshop in London. Eventually, they went togher. This story's ending is so romantic. ( )

At first, I thought this was an ordinary love story between an ordinary man and a beautiful actress, and I would be tired. However I was so absorbed in it that I finished reading just in a day.Also, this book helped me understand the feeling of the charactors in the movie.
