There is lots of information about supplies, and also step-by-step tutorials for doing some of the basic design elements (something most other books on the subject that I've read seem to neglect to include). There aren't as many projects here as in some other books, but the tutorials make up for that. I wouldn't mind owning a copy of this. (  )1   herebedragons | Aug 20, 2009 |  Good for beginners. I found most of the material covered in this book readily available for no cost on the internet. The drawings were somewhat helpful but nothing amazing. Had hoped for more advanced techniques and projects. The pen drawings of techniques are a bit dated and the instrucitons seem needlessly wordy; I have to read them several times before I can perform the technique described.
