Three Bedtime Stories (urspr publ 1958; utgåvan 1983)

This cute and fun book is about three little pigs. the first pig builds a house out of straw and gets eaten by the big bad wolf. The second little pig builds a house out of sticks and gets eaten by the big bad wolf. The third and smarter pig builds his house out of bricks, the big bad wolf can not blow his house down like he did the others so the wolf comes down the chimney to find himself in a pot of boiling water. The third little pig had a great big pot of wolf soup that night. ( )

This is a book from my childhood and judging from the condition of the spine, a favorite. The colorful illustrations and bright simple text make this an excellent bedtime read. The book is rather large for small hands, being nearly a foot in high. It's best read with an adult to hold and help with the pages. ( )
