The Fiery Salamander - bigger than a crocodile and more terrible than a dragon - lives in a volcano on the mountain. He lives amongst the hot flames and rocks, and whenever he's hungry he wanders down the mountain looking for food and scares all the other animals. The animals put their heads together to come up with a plan to stop the terrifying Salamander from ruining their peaceful lives.
