Because the digital market changes so rapidly this book is already getting outdated.
I read the digital version which lacked the color photo inserts which left only a few grayscale images throughout. This makes the digital version that I had worthless.

Shooting Like a Pro! is definitely targeted at beginning photographers and it has a lot of good points and tips however for the price I feel you would be much better off with a book like John Hedgecoe's The Book of Photography as it is full of color images and it covers a lot more information.
