Climate change impacts are scale and context specific, and cities are likely to bear some of the greatest costs. In recent years, a focus on local and self-styled responses has emerged as a result of the inability of nation-states to agree on a long-term commitment to tackling climate change and managing its consequences. Climate Change at the City Scalepresents a fresh contribution to climate change literature, as the city-scale has largely been neglected until now.
