Summary: In this cute little story, Pooh wakes up and begins searching for honey, and on his quest he runs into all his friends! As Pooh finds all his friends and catches up with them after the cold winter, spring has sprung and they all plan a great and fabulous picnic! Personal Reaction: I thought this was a great book especially for when the seasons change from winter to spring and would be a great transition book! Extension Ideas: This book would be great for a transition in between lessons! I would read this story and have a picnic day with my class, eating lunch outside! Another Extension idea would be to have the children write a short story about their favorite memory of a picnic, or what the greatest picnic would be to them. Summary: This book followed Winnie the Pooh as he went about his day in the springtime. He told the reader all about his favorite things baout Spring. Personal Reaction: I liked this book because I loved Winnie the Pooh as a child, so reading it as an adult was very familiar to me. Classroom Extensions: 1. Read this book to learn about Spring. 2. Have kids journal about their favorite things about Spring. inga recensioner | lägg till en recension

(My Pooh Project: I love Winnie the Pooh, and so does my wife. Having a daughter gave us a chance to indoctrinate her into the cult by buying and reading her every Pooh book we came across. How many is that? I’m going to count them this year by reading and reviewing one every day and seeing which month I finally run out. Track my progress here:
