Morrell always writes a quality book. Although there were a few things that threw me a bit, that as a regular old Joe I could see coming, but a special ops highly trained team didn’t…and that’s me trying not to give any spoilers. But overall, really well done and high paced. (

I very much liked this book and its pace. Though I have not read a book by Morrell that I haven't liked. Story is well developed and the Main Character Cavanaugh is a very likeable person. There are no slow downs just fast pace action throughout. Well worth the read. (

Ex-Delta Force officer, Cavanagh is assigned to protect a seriously overweight and extremely nervous biochemist named Daniel Prescott who has invented a dangerous drug to induce fear in everyone including those trained to feel no fear. Unfortunately, appearances can be deceptive. Cavanagh finds himself alone and fighting for his life and trying to track down Prescott, the man he was supposed to protect, but who turned out to be more dangerous than the people who wanted Prescott dead.

If you like action and adventure, this book is for you. I found this book to be a very good suspense thriller and it definitely kept me wondering if Cavanagh was going to blow off his promise to protect Prescott and just kill the bastard. (

Ex-Delta force officer, Cavanaugh, hired to protect Daniel Prescott, discovers that Prescott invented a drug that so dramatically increases fear that even those trained to handle fear immediately loose control. After taking Prescott into protection, Prescott turns on his protectors and Cavahaugh begins a journey to catch Prescott to obtain the antidote to the drug. The story twists and turns throughout as the reader encounters state of the art protection services and “Mission Impossible” like scenes.

I listened to this book and it as a completely entertaining ‘read’ for my commuting hours. (

Just finished this book and really enjoyed it. Couldn't put it down, as I only started it yesterday afternoon. Well paced, didn't find myself skipping pages of needless detail. Cavanaugh, who works at protective services, not a bodyguard, finds himself wanting to kill the client. (
