I received this book as part of the early reviewers program. The information was presented in an easy-to-understand manner. It's not just a one-trick pony either but offers information on various aspects that have connections to fertility such as helpful herbs, acupuncture, and exercise. Those struggling with fertility and looking for options might find this book useful and at the very least interesting. ( )

After going through two miscarriages, I was excited to read this book to find any new information that might help us. But alas, this book is so much like other fertility-related books: do this, don't do that, and here's a list of successful pregnancy stories. I've tried acupuncture, herbs, you name it. To be fair, I'm probably not in the right place in my life to give this book a balanced review.

This was a decent book on infertility, but nothing really new or cutting-edge. At times it seemed like a sales-tool of the doctor to sell his services. I would recommend it for those who are into herbs and chinese medicine. ( )

I am impressed with the level of detail in this book, ranging from nutritional to physical to psychological, with thoughtful, caring information addressing the needs of women seeking hope after much failure. It also made me realize that there are many more possibilities that do not require (expensive) medical intervention, which is wonderful news.

I received this book through LT's Early Reviewer program.
I really enjoyed the writing style and tone of this book. It's very easy, down-to-earth. If Dr. Dao was sitting across from you during a personal conversation you would probably call him very approachable. The first half of the book deals with suggestions on diet, nutrition and then exercise, massage, acupuncture, etc. Those sections were well written. I thought it particularly interesting that he does not advocate drinking 8 8-oz glasses of water a day. I believe he says 5 glasses is enough. I did not care for the second half of the book which dealt with case studies (success stories) and I scanned or paged through that section.
