Laddar... A Tale of Two Cities [adapted - Oxford Bookworms]av Ralph Mowat, Charles Dickens, Ralph Mowat
![]() Ingen/inga Det finns inga diskussioner på LibraryThing om den här boken. Intermediate-High, This is sad story. I was interested in French revolution. I learned about it in world history class but this story showed me another side of the revolution. Strong love chenged a main character. This story is the time of French revolution. One day , in London, earl was killed. Charles is earl's nephew. So he was blamed... The end og this story is very sad. Carton was dead for his lover's happy. I was very impressed by the determination of him. Although I knew French Revolution, I didn't know about common people. This book told me about them, it was interesting. The book was quite boring, especially at the begining. Hamda inga recensioner | lägg till en recension

The French Revolution brings terror and death to many people. But even in these troubled times people can still love and be kind. They can be generous and true-hearted . . . and brave.
