The students all have the chance to talk about the different careers of their family members. What stood out to me about this book is that it expresses equality with the careers when it comes to gender, and can show readers that women and men are fit to do all different types of careers. This can lead to a creative writing experience for students to write about what they want to be when they grow up and why they want to take on that specific career. Older students can be asked to include details on what their dream career includes, too.
