A good book to read to 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders who have a trip to the library and want a storytime. (

The kids arrive at the library and the librarian gives an overview of all the exciting books they can read. Looks like the type of book a librarian might use at a library tour... but I'm a librarian and have no desire to use it. Maybe following her lead and pulling books on space, cooking, dogs, magic, etc., to introduce the kids to a variety of subjects.

But this book has little plot and I'm not sure that it would hold kids' interest for long. (

Librarian talks about all these different places to explore and things to be to get a class excited about finding a book that is just right for them.
