I didn't finish it - it was a collection of short stories only one of which was written by Anne Perry. I was not impressed with them, but then again, I am not a short story reader. I like more description and character development. ( )

I made it through the first two rather sophomoric tales and decided further reading was a waste of time. ( )

Seventeen stories written for this anthology edited by Anne Perry. My favorite has the "sick" title of "Ways to Kill a Cat." Since I am a catlover, I expected to hate it but it was a piece of sardonic humor about a woman who writes mysteries with a cat "detective." She becomes jealous of the real-life representative of her hero's fan mail and attempts to kill him off. [P.S. The offerings are British mysteries. My husband did not like them because they are somewhat understated. Also, I don't think he "gets" British humor.} ( )
