Ooh, this was one of my first cookbooks! I bought it in Portland when I was 19 - a busy student just learning to cook, and I used it all the time. The recipes rely heavily on canned foods, but are all very quick to prepare. My culinary skills have advanced significantly since then, but this book will always have a special place in my heart - I used to just love it! This is a great book for a beginning and busy cook. (
